Last night I watched the new documentary on Rush, “Beyond The Lighted Stage” and it once again reinvigorated my love for this band. If you are any sort of fan of 70’s hard rock you must rent it. It’s so thorough that it contains home movie footage of a 17 year-old Alex Lifeson trying to convince his parents to let him pursue a career in music!
Rush was the subject of the very first episode of Nite Fite, specifically, whether or not they should be considered heavy metal. I happen to agree with Penalty on this issue ;)Check out my personal reminders of Rush concerts past:
