That night the Oakland chapter of the Hell’s Angels had their way. Tonight, it’s my turn.

One of the most common phobias that plagues the human condition is glossophobia: the fear of public speaking. It is estimated that 75% of all people get anxious and nervous when they have to speak in front of a crowd.

I guess this is why we have the phenomenon well call KARAOKE. You get up there in front of a room full of people. You’re not a professional singer. In fact, most of the time, you suck at singing. Still, you open up and bare your heart and soul. And for a brief moment, when you’re singing a song that touches you in some way and makes you feel good, you are a rock star.

Honestly, karaoke may be the endorphin-boosting outlet that we need right now. It also helps to be fucking drunk as a skunk when you grab the mic.

Here’s the Musings Playlist of Classic Karaoke Favorites To Belt Out Loud As Hell In Front Of Friends, Co-Workers, and Strangers.

Remember to follow us on Spotify and/or check back here weekly for a new playlist. Be well and if you have any thoughts we’d love to hear them.
